While on twitter the other evening, I came across this tweet:

“Check out 20 hand-picked Fall trends under $250 from @rzrachelzoe

http://fabsu.gr/10544392

10:00 AM Aug 25th via OnSugar

Although I did see that it said $250, I clicked on it any way and just had to see what item or items can possibly be worth paying $250. What I can say  I agree with is that all 20 items are both must have and transitional. What I disagree with, is that you do not need to spend up to $250 for these fall trends.

That is why I decided to go ahead and take it upon myself to redo and rename Rachel Zoe’s 20 transitional trends under $250 to 20 transitional trends under $75. Yes, you are reading correct the same look and feel, the same must haves and the same trends but under $75!!

I would not be able to say that I can dress you for less if I did not redo/rename the list.

   Fall's Best under $75

According to Rachel Zoe’s top 20 Transitional Fall Trends here is what you will be needing:
1. Over the knee boots
2. Military jacket
3. Adorned belt
4. Printed blouse
5. Cut out wedge
6. Wide leg trouser
7. Felt fedora
8. Lightweight cape
9. Perfect polish
10. Leather skirt
11. Leopard clutch
12. Deep lip color
13. Fitted cargo pants
14. Versatile jumpsuit
15. Collar necklace
16. Draped jacket
17. Textured scarf
18. Maxi Dress
19. Suede convertible handbag
20. Thigh high socks

When you compare my picks to hers you will see I was pretty dead on with some of the pieces. There really is no need to pay those outrages prices, especially if you are anything thing like me and like to look like a million bucks but only spend a dime.

Another thing that I noticed is that some of her transitional pieces have been featured in my looks. I was happy to see that, makes me feel good since I am a self-taught and trained fashion junkie.

LOVE this post - excellent subject and LOVE the results that you've gotten. Would love to share on my blog - How to Love Your Reflection...women who are transitioning their wardrobe after weight loss NEED tips like these to help them stay on top of trends while they are losing / reshaping, without spending tons of money and having to let the items go after they complete their weight-loss journey. I'll be printing out your list and using the links you've given to update my wardrobe as well...great job!
