I am so super happy the challenges are back and in full effect. Of course I am already behind lol but I did want to post them up in any how. This was last week's challenge and if you know me then you now I was going to pick the 40s/50s because that was the Pin Up era. I think I may have been a burlesque dancer in my past life haha.

So about the outfit... I wore this when I was out in Miami and I put this outfit together specifically for my trip. I knew that I wanted to wear my new shoes that I won on twitter sponsored by @twistedsoles be sure to check out their site Twisted Soles.

The shoes instantly took me to that pin up era and I just had to pair them with a black calf length pencil skirt. Who knew those were so hard to come by. I had to improvise which can probably be my second name lol I used a Cotton Spandex Jersey Strapless Ruched Dress I bought from American Apparel back when I was pregnant. I pulled the dress down to about mid abdomen and rocked it as a skirt.

Miami, summer and vacation mean colorful bright clothes to me and we all know I just love color hence pairing the "skirt" with a lime green tank from Forever 21. I have had that pink belt for almost 5 years know I bought it from an Aldo outlet store and grabbed it in green, yellow (which my mom hasn't returned), red (which my friend hasn't returned) and aqua lol.

I LOVED this look thus far one of my absolute favorites and I hope you all love it too.
