THE HUNGER GAMES, based on the wildly popular book of the same name. The Hunger Games begin on March 23, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Lenny Kravitz.

The film takes place in Panem, the ruins of what once was North America. Every year, a teenage boy and girl are selected from each of the 12 districts to compete in the Hunger Games, a terrifying, televised competition in which the object is to be the last one to survive.

Katniss, the girl tribute from District 12, takes the place of her younger sister and finds herself in the fight of her life. The film is a story of the struggle for freedom, personal empowerment as well as survival and family. Passionate fans across the world eagerly await the HUNGER GAMES world coming to life.
