Believe it or not I really do not get out much so I took advantage that we had a birthday party to attend yesterday, to wear my newly DIY'd cut off shorts. They were pretty easy to make I bought a pair of old "mom jeans" at the thrift shop and the 1/2" studs online via studsandspikes.com, thinking they were smaller. I still like the result of the shorts even with the stud mistake. I kept my design simple but you can get lots of inspiration from Instagram and Etsy.

Granted it may have not been the most appropriate outfit for a one year old's backyard birthday gathering but nonetheless an occasion to wear my shorts before summer's end. 

My top was a fab find, I was out shopping for my step-daughter's birthday and just as I was approaching the check out I saw it. Only 14.99 at Marshall's. I really like all of the detailing. You may remember my wedges from my January Lust List I wore them for the first time here: Father's Day OOTD. The belt was a gift from my sister, she picked it up at Target.

Lo creas o no, yo realmente no salgo mucho, así que aproveché que tenía una fiesta de cumpleaños para asistir ayer para usar mis pantalones cortos que hice.
