Hi Folks! I'm a fashion obsessed, 27 year old Dominican Mom. Here is the scope on me and my blog.... I reactivated my twitter account about 2 years ago, with the sole intention of simply following my brother @nesgto and his wife; my best friend, @NataliasStyle. I really had no idea who else to follow and had very little interest in following many celebrities so I searched for what I love - Weddings and Fashion.
After following lots of wedding and fashion bloggers, I began to think to myself "Hey! I could do this" I am definitely not a self proclaiming professional stylist. but I do have an eye for fashion and a creative spirit.
The way my blog came about is a little funny… My best friend I, Natalia (@NataliasStyle ) and I always go online to all sorts of women’s clothing stores like Forever21.com, WetSeal.com, Mandees.com, G by Guess and sites of that nature and send each other links of items we liked
Due to budget constraints we are not always able to buy what we would like, so we simply create wish lists or add stuff to our “shopping bags” in hopes of one day being able to go back and purchase a few of the items in said shopping bags or wish lists. Then I found the world’s most amazing app on my iPhone - ShopStyle. This is when my imagination really went wild!
My “<3 favorites” list is crazy long and full of amazing finds. I have so many options for different outfits that I can put together that I decided to share, and because I look for things in my budget and I’ll just say it isn’t quite large; I felt that I should put them up online. This way other people like me - fashion savvy women/mothers who like to shop and save but still look like a million bucks, can be inspired as I was by other sites and if they have the money can actually go ahead and buy it.
Since starting my blog two years ago it has grown into something much more than I had ever imagined. My mission is to empower Latinas to always lead by example by both looking and feeling good on the inside and out without breaking the bank.
I hope everyone enjoys my posts and ensembles that I put together. I to try to post as often as possible. I have a 2 year old; Naliya who is the cutest thing in the world and a mini fashionista herself, a husband and a dog who keep me very busy. Hope you enjoy my site!
